Apart from being the domain name that I personally use, I’m also providing yeen.be for anyone who’d like to use it for their site, mailbox, and so on.
It’s free! At the price a domain name costs, it would be cheeky to charge anything.
Would you like to use a sub-domain of yeen.be (for example bob.yeen.be) to point to your website? You can do this by providing me with a CNAME record, an IPv4 (A record) or an IPv6 (AAAA record)!
Would you like to use a sub-domain of yeen.be (for example [email protected]) as your e-mail address? You can do this by providing me with an MX record! If you don’t have a server and a MX record to provide, you can simply forward all e-mails to your e-mail address (for example [email protected] forwarded to [email protected]).
It is also possible to have a dedicated mailbox on the main domain yeen.be (for example [email protected]) managed and hosted by Infomaniak. There’s a very nice web interface for viewing, replying to and sending emails. This is what I use to receive my e-mails. However, the number of mailboxes I can create is very limited. Just ask!
Need other records such as SRV, TXT (for example to prove that bob.yeen.be belongs to you to Discord, GitHub or other sites), etc.? We can discuss it!
It’s even possible to define an NS record to have full management of the sub-domain (for example by adding it to Cloudflare as bob.yeen.be).
A, AAAA and CNAME records will go through the Cloudflare proxy by default (orange cloud activated). Among other things, this allows you to benefit from extra protection and HTTPS easily. I can disable it on request.
